Operation: Sweetest Appreciation

Show your support to the soldiers serving our country with a taste of home... a dozen homemade cookies!

How it works...
For every $7.95 you add to your order (or place an order for) an extra dozen gourmet cookies are added to the next care package in line being sent to a Military APO/FPO/DPO address. We'll include a note in your soldier's care package explaining "Operation: Sweetest Appreciation" and your city where the donation came from. If requested, we'll send you an email when your cookies were sent.

I'm not ordering anything else, can I just donate this dozen?
Absolutely, simply put your own address down as the shipping address on the order. It will be ignored, and your order will be sent to the next in line package as usual.

Quality Ingredients
Our cookies are homemade from scratch in small batches, just like our Grandparents did! We use ingredients you can pronounce - eggs, flour, sugar, and of course... butter! What you would consider real food. No artificial ingredients, fillers, additives, or preservatives. Great baked goods start with the best ingredients, and there is no substitute for the flavor of real butter!

Will the cookies arrive fresh?
There are many products in our store that we will not ship overseas, but the selection listed passed the test. A two week old cookie would not be our first choice, we're used to tasting our cookies right out of the oven! Can't beat them! However, because they are so rich, they take forever to dry out. They still taste great over a month later! Our testers chose our 4 week old gourmet cookies over the 2 week old competition, and we're confident your soldier would too!

Hemland province of Afghanistan

I wanted to take a minute to thank the Butter Maid Bakery for Operation Sweetest Appreciation. I am deployed to the Hemland province of Afghanistan with Marines from Beaufort, S.C. I received a box of your delicious treats, and my Marines and I are both thankful, and stuffed. We really appreciate the support you give us. I was writing to let you know that I loved the cookies you sent as part of the Operation Sweetest Appreciation program. My co-workers and I finished them in about five minutes. THANK YOU!

For every person who donates a dozen cookies...THANK YOU for donating the tastiest cookies available. I'm deployed myself and I couldn't believe the first time my mom sent me cookies that I received an extra FREE dozen... meaning I could SHARE with my Soldiers!!!! It was AHHHHH-MAZING! I realized that if I appreciated these cookies so much, I had to pass on that appreciation. I've since purchased a couple cookie donations for a deployed Servicemember -and I knew that someone out there got a surprise with a tasty reminder of home.

We love these cookies in our house! My husband is from pennsylvania and one of the first things we do when we go home is stop at buttermaid bakery! These frosted cookies are some of my favorites, I always say I will keep savor them, but in this house they don't last more than a few days! Thank you for having a website ButterMaid Bakery!
