We take great pride in the quality of our products, and take extra measures such as special packaging to assure every order arrives fresh and in great condition, just as if you picked it up at our bakery. ☑️ When will my order arrive?
Yay! Your order will be baked fresh and packaged with the utmost care by one of our bakers. Most orders are delivered to the carrier the same business day if placed by our cutoff time; please allow additional time during holidays. Once shipped, the carrier speed you selected determines when it arrives. Shipping days are typically M-F, sometimes weekends. U.S. transit speeds do not apply to Military addresses, please see Military Shipping Policy.
☑️ How do I track my order?
Tracking is automatically sent to the email address provided on the order. Please add us to your email contacts, and check your spam folder - just in case :) Tracking emails are provided as a convenience; we cannot guarantee email inbox delivery.
☑️ How do I receive my order?
Customers are responsible for successfully receiving packages and getting them inside to a safe place, because it’s outside our control... unless you're inviting us over for kolachi, in which case we'll leave right now and be over by tomorrow 😁
If you're sending a gift, please let them know to "expect a package". We recommend someone is home to receive the package, or ship to an alternate location such as a workplace.
Leaving a package at an address is ultimately up to the complete discretion of the individual delivery person; If the package is not left, the customer is responsible for arranging pickup or re-delivery with the carrier. The customer is responsible for retrieving the package at all possible delivery locations such as front & side doors, garage door, in or at mailbox, parcel locker, apartment lobby, lobby desk, etc; We're more than happy to leave notes on packages for the carrier, however they do not offer special requests as a service and are not required to accommodate them. The customer is responsible for packages left outside & exposed to bad weather / elements, and any other such delivery events beyond our control.
Customers are responsible for checking that all shipping information is correct before submitting an order. Once the order is processed, it cannot be altered. Butter Maid Bakery is not responsible for packages returned to us or delivered to the incorrect address as a result. If the carrier reroutes a delivery due to an incorrect address, they charge a fee, a $19 charge will be applied to your order.
Time Sensitive Events: When should I order?
Outside of busy holiday seasons, we can have an order arrive around a date of your choice. We highly recommend ordering early, and scheduling arrival a minimum of 1 day early. All products are guaranteed to arrive fresh, and can be frozen for up to 6 months. We cannot be responsible for delays in transit due to weather, natural disaster, high package volume, strikes, or any such event beyond our control.
Order Issues
Since we are delivering food, there are no returns, cancellations, changes or refunds allowed on any order once it has been processed. In the event the products arrive damaged or in poor quality, the customer is responsible for notifying us within 2 days and keeping the products and original packaging for inspection; If you do not, we cannot guarantee any compensation or replacement.

We ship to Alaska, Hawaii, and U.S. Territories such as PR, VI, etc.
Discounted flat rate shipping for 1-5 items is $11.99. Larger quantities pay actual USPS carrier fees, which can be costly. To avoid that, please place separate orders in smaller quantities.
We Ship to Canada!
Orders are guaranteed to arrive fresh. Transit speeds to your address are shown at checkout. Shipping charged at checkout is carrier cost only. Duties and taxes will be due upon delivery by the customer and/or gift receiver.
Note: All carriers have suspended their delivery guarantees, until further notice. All orders are still guaranteed to arrive fresh.
