Out-of-Stock Products

There may be situations that prohibit us from having your order ready to ship in the time frame mentioned in our shipping policy. We will keep you informed on any such situations and offer your choice of an alternative or refund.

We make every attempt to deliver your order by the fastest & most cost efficient means possible, and your order will arrive at or faster than the services you purchased. All products in a single order or multiple orders may ship in one or more packages, using one or more carriers.

Allergies & Dietary Preferences

Butter Maid Bakery makes every attempt to identify ingredients that may cause allergic reactions for those with food allergies. Every effort is made to instruct our food production staff on the severity of food allergies. Our products may have come in contact with all types of food allergies including but not limited to nuts, tree nuts, milk, soy, eggs, and wheat. Customers concerned with food allergies and dietary preferences need to be aware of this risk. Please be aware that some products may contain nut shells and or seeds.  Butter Maid Bakery will not assume any liability for adverse reactions to foods consumed, or items one may come in contact with while eating our products. The buyer is responsible for determining whether the product is suitable for the end user. Any nutritional or dietary material contained on www.ButterMaidBakery.com is for informational purposes only. It is not intended to be a substitute for professional medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. 


Safe Handling & Consumption

Butter Maid Bakery makes every attempt to deliver products that are safe for consumption. Situations such as carrier delays or improper handling may result in product that is not safe for consumption. The buyer and end user are responsible for determining if the product is safe for consumption. The preservation of baked good products are extended in cooler temperatures and frozen, and optimal temperatures for micro-bacteria growth are room temperature and warmer. There are no guidelines to determine spoilage due to all the variables our products may experience prior to consumption. Therefore, once the product is in the buyers hand, Butter Maid Bakery cannot determine if the product is safe for consumption and any information provided by an employee of Butter Maid Bakery is for informational purposes only, and is not intended to be a diagnosis of the products safety of consumption. The buyer and end user can check for signs of spoilage, and when in doubt, we recommend not to consume as a precaution.


Shipping Policy

We take great pride in our products and make every effort to assure your order arrives in excellent condition. Your baked goods will be baked fresh from scratch & packaged with care by one of our bakers. In addition to properly cooling baked products, this process may also include vacuum sealing, freezing, and cookie icing drying (iced sugar cookies). Most orders are delivered to the carrier in 1-3 business days; please allow additional time during holiday seasons. Once shipped, your selected carrier speed determines when it arrives. Shipping dates vary, and can be Monday - Saturday.  U.S. transit speeds do not apply to Military addresses, please see Military Shipping Policy for more information.

Tracking is automatically sent to the email address provided on the order. Please add us to your email contacts, and check your spam folder - just in case :) If you placed the order with your user account, tracking will also be posted there. Tracking emails are provided as a convenience; we cannot guarantee email inbox delivery.

We encourage you to order in a timely fashion to avoid delays caused by shipping or product availability. We cannot be responsible for delays in transit due to weather, natural disaster, high package volume, strikes, or any such event beyond our control.

If you're sending a gift, please let them know to "expect a package". It's not required, but we recommend someone is home to receive the package, or ship to an alternate such as workplace.  Here's Why:  Anything that happens next is entirely outside our control...
  Leaving a package at an address is ultimately up to the complete discretion of the individual delivery person; If the package is not left, the customer is responsible for arranging pickup or re-delivery with the carrier. The customer is responsible for retrieving the package at all possible delivery locations such as front & side doors, mailbox, parcel locker, etc;  We're more than happy to leave notes on packages for the carrier, however they do not offer special requests as a service and are not required to accommodate them. They may not always ring the doorbell. The customer is responsible for packages left outside & exposed to bad weather / elements, and any other such delivery events beyond our control.

Customers are responsible for checking that all shipping information is correct before submitting an order. Once the order is processed, it cannot be altered. Butter Maid Bakery is not responsible for packages returned to us or delivered to the incorrect address as a result. If the carrier reroutes a delivery due to an incorrect address, a $19 charge will be applied.

There are no returns, modifications, or cancellations allowed on any order once it has been processed.

In the event the products arrive damaged or in poor quality, the customer is responsible for notifying us within 2 days and keeping the products and original packaging for inspection; If you do not, we cannot guarantee any compensation or replacement. If a return is accepted, the package must be delivered to the carrier within 1 business day and returned via the same shipping service it was received.


Your Membership Account

If you use this site, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer, and you agree to accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account or password. If you are under 18, you may use our website only with involvement of a parent or guardian.


Reviews, Comments, Emails, Other Content, Liability & Damages
